This song is most likely only meant to hype viewers up for the arc that is about to come in the anime. Seeing as this is just the second opening of the new series, I predict that it will have any emotional substance to it. Lyrics are a very important part of a song. When it comes to the songs, I’m personally more of a lyrical person. But as for me I would like to go all in more depth when it comes to the new series. Although fans are very upset about this because it tarnishes Asta’s legacy or so I have heard. The dark, shadowy book of Asta in the first scene where we also get a glint of Asta’s demon form and the four Clover book of Yuno further in the opening with the wind sylph also helps convey the message that they”be there when needed, and will definitely get the spotlight in the series. These scenes most likely implies that they have somewhat of a role in this series, although it’s already obvious that this anime will centralize more around Asta than Yuno.

The third villains of the series are also shown and the other Magic Knight captains as well fighting along side Asta and his comrades to protect the Clover Kingdom. There’s a short scene where they have The Black Bull leader Yami which we all love if you have watched up to the episodes where you get to meet him. Also there are were many scenes in the opening were it would show vibrant, dark colors to add on to the crazy times the opening gives off.
You can clearly see the seriousness and positive expectations on the characters faces adding on to the hype of the series. We also get to see the Magic knight captains and their logos and the Black Bull squad which is the magic squad Asta is in. The entire opening is basically about how far Asta has come ever since he and Yuno became magic knights in order who will aim to become the Wizard King first.
The visuals of the opening showcase Asta and his comrades around him. They definitely caught my eye when watching the first episode.
